In 1999 individuals who were police officers and involved in youth prison ministry came together to answer the need of a Christian youth ministry that would impact our youth before they were involved with gangs, drugs and other criminal activity that would affect the rest of their lives. From this need that God had put on their hearts  Agape Youth Ministry was formed.

Since this beginning, Agape Youth Ministry has done weekend outreaches, week and month long youth camps, and service projects that have involved hundreds of youth and church groups coming to its Agape Youth Ranch and its partnered ranches such the Perdue Ranch. From this activity the Ministry has seen how our youth were positively impacted by developing a relationship between kids and animals such as horses and dogs.

From these camps Agape Youth Ministry developed its residential Agape Youth Ranch Academy. The premise for the academy is to have a ranch in a rural setting that struggling teens who were dealing with educational, emotional, relationship and self-identity issues could be in a Christian environment without the distractions of their current environment.

In 2016 the Agape Youth Ranch was given to GAP Ministries for its Foster Care Program in the Tucson area to provide summer camps for their foster kids.

In 2018 Agape Youth Ministry started its Scholarship Program. providing financial assistance to those youth wanting to attend programs that provided a closer relationship with Christ.

In 2019  White Mountain Youth INC (In Christ) became one of the partnered ministries  in the White Mountains of Arizona.

In 2020 Valley of the Son Youth INC (In Christ) became a partner Ministry of Agape Youth Ministry in the Maricopa 

County of Arizona

 Mission:  Our mission is to effect a change in a youth’s life by showing the love of Jesus Christ by providing financial assistance thru our scholarship program and supporting  Christian-based programs.
Vision: Our vision is to provide financial assistance and programs that would change a youth’s life.

• Ministry: We are dedicated to helping our youth achieve the values necessary to lead a fruitful life by instilling the Christian values of human worth, honesty and respect plus showing them the love of Jesus Christ.
• Team Work: We are a single team of Board Members, Missionary Staff and volunteers committed to learning from one another and to serve the needs of our hurting youth. We work together in the development of strategies and plans and we unite behind our ministry's priorities, standards and decisions.
• People: We acknowledge that our God uses people to fulfill His vision that He has given Agape Youth Ministry and that each individual has been called by God to help fulfill that vision with the gifts He has given them.

Integrity: We are personally and collectively responsible for maintaining the Christian ethics of this ministry. We hold our actions as individuals and as a ministry before the judgment of God.

 Scholarships: Agape Youth Ministry offers scholarships through local churches and Christian programs for teens that  need financial assistance for Christian Programs.
